A Little Beauty Haul

I popped into Superdrug and John Lewis and couldn't resist picking up a few beauty bits. Two re-purchases and two new things to play with.

First off the re-purchases. This is my third Revlon Nearly Naked foundation, it is has become my staple everyday foundation. It's affordable, lightweight and lasts all day. I have just bought it in a darker shade because I've been fake tanning quite a bit lately so this colour will hopefully match better. The second re-purchase is the Bobbi Brown Creamy Concealer. This has quickly become a staple in my make-up bag, I carry one around with me everyday and so I bought this one to keep at home for when I apply it in the mornings. It's a gorgeous concealer that works just as well under the eyes as it does on redness and spots.

On a bit of a whim I decided to pick up a L'Oreal Paris Liquid Lipstick, I hadn't heard too much about these but when swatching them I was sold! I went for the colour Rose Melody which is a lovely rose pink colour. I have tried this once and so far I love it. It is like wearing a lipstick and a lipgloss but in one product and it last much longer. I definitely want to try more colours!

I have heard so much about the Maybelline The Falsies mascara so I couldn't resist buying it. But I have to say that after a few days use I am not that impressed. For a mascara that calls itself 'The Falsies' I expected lots of volume but it's just a bit meh. I will definitely use it but probably only for work when I don't want particularly dramatic lashes. Has anyone else found this a disappointment?

I'm going to try not to do any more shopping because it's my birthday at the end of this month, yay!

  1. The foundation sounds great I have heard some really good things and mine is nearly running out xxx

  2. loove the falsies mascara! :)

  3. The falsies mascara is very good! Impromptu buys are sometimes necessary.
