Moving House!

Make up bag

Well, technically not moving 'house', but flats. Tom and I are moving into our first flat, just the two of us! I'm so so excited. You may have seen me complaining on twitter complaining about packing. Somehow Tom managed to arrange not one but two holidays during our move! So while he was sunning himself in Croatia and now drinking beers in France, I have been packing like crazy. I think I am finally there but that means living out of boxes and a very minimal make up bag for the rest of the week.

I am having so much fun browsing home wear shops, the first thing on my list is a dressing table. I'm not quite sure which one I want, but I am definitely tempted by the blogger staple, Ikea Malm. Hopefully I will have some good before and after photos of the flat, so if you like interiors then definitely follow me on Bloglovin' to see all my latest posts :)

Please leave any good home wear inspiration blogs in the comments. I think I might be very active on Pinterest in the next couple of weeks!

Sunday Relaxation

When the bathstore got in touch about their #takeabubblebreak campaign I thought it was the perfect campaign for me to get involved with. As you know, I get super anxious quite regularly so taking relaxation breaks is an essential for me. They sent me this adorable little package with a candle, a bath bomb, a face mask, body moisturiser and then my personal favourite - an adorable rubber duck!

Sundays are the perfect day for relaxing, so I thought today was the perfect time to write this post. My boyfriend has just gone on holiday to Croatia for a week so I'm feeling sorry for myself stuck in rainy London. The candle smells absolutely gorgeous, it's Sandalwood and Musk - such a different scent to all my other candles but I absolutely love it! The Sanctuary Spa moisturiser is also one of my favourites, the smell is so luxurious and reminds me of being younger.. I must have stolen my mum's before!

It's so important to take some time out for yourself so get the bath running, put in your favourite bath bomb and chill with your favourite book.

Happy relaxing!

Beauty Favourites | Illamasqua

Illamasqua packaging

Hi all, I'm Olivia Jade from Dungarees & Donuts and today I am guest posting on the lovely Tori's blog, if you are interested in checking out my blog feel free to take a look here! Today I thought I would talk to you about my first ever Illamasqua purchases, the first products I ever purchased from them was a lipstick and a gorgeous eyebrow cake, which is for filling in your eyebrows. Eyebrow cake is the first eyebrow product that I have purchased which wasn't from the high street, the product comes in a little compact with a built in mirror perfect for on the go touch ups, to apply this product I use one of my small eyebrow brushes, I took a guess on my shade as I purchased it online, I went for Thunder as it's quite a dark brown shade so I thought it would go well with my eyebrows, which I was right *does a little dance*. I am so happy with this product as it's long lasting, I know this by the fact I have left it on overnight after a night out and it was still intact the morning after, a totally gross thing to admit but at least it's long lasting right? I have been using this product for a good few months now and it's barely used any to say I use it every day which I think is pretty impressive.

I was already expecting great things from this lipstick as I have read so many reviews which rave about it, and when I found it a sale for £10.00 it had to be mine, the colour is called Soaked, which a gorgeous orange colour which is perfect for summer! I applied the lipstick and it felt lightweight and I was seriously impressed with how vibrant it stayed for over 4 hours and stayed put in my lips for up to eight hours. After wearing the lipstick my lips felt soft and refreshed. I love the packaging as I am always drawn in by black packaging, I am definitely a new found fan of these lipsticks and Illamasqua as a brand and I can tell I will be making a return trip for a lot more of these lipsticks.

Bournemouth and Body Confidence

I've had this Bournemouth post in my drafts for ages now, I think it's well over a month since I went. I took my big DSLR camera with me so I could create a lovely blog post for you guys. But obviously that didn't happen.

The reason? Body confidence.

I got home and downloaded all the photos onto my laptop and nearly cried at the sight of myself. I am all for people being comfortable and happy and confident whatever their size, but for some reason I struggle so much when applying this logic to myself. I've talked a lot about fitness on my blog, and you can probably tell it's pretty sporadic. I really struggle with sticking to a routine. Some days I'm determined to eat healthy and go to the gym and other days I'm just thinking, fuck it, life is too short.

Being surrounded with perfect images on social media definitely has an impact. I envy all the girls with perfect bodies, all the celebrities who never have a hair out of place. I know it's unrealistic to want to look like that, I know I don't have the determination. I love going out and socialising with my friends, and that definitely comes first. I will never be the girl to sack off a night out for the gym. No way. But maybe I could balance this better?

I don't know how to change this or how to get completely happy. I don't even have a proper thought process to this blog post. But surely i'm not alone? How do you cope with body confidence struggles?
