London Fashion Week is a bit alien to me. I'm definitely not the kind of blogger invited to shows or involved at all really. But my job enables me to get a glimpse into this seemingly exclusive world. I helped organise the Kurt Geiger blogger event which meant I got to go along. The event itself was really fun. It was a relaxed start to fashion week with some delicious breakfast and a viewing of the SS16 collection which Karlie Kloss is the face of. Everyone was socialising and browsing the new shoes and I think it's safe to say it was a success! It was really cool meeting bloggers I have worked with a lot and blogs that I read regularly. It made me realise that it isn't that intimidating. I walked up to groups of bloggers I'd never met before to introduce myself and everyone was so friendly and welcoming.
Coming away from that event seemed to spark my motivation and gave me so much fresh inspiration which is what I've been missing for so long. I am hoping this motivation will stick around. I've managed to rope in one of my friends to try to take some outfit pictures for me at the weekend which will be a new part of my blog. I am so self critical though, so I'm feeling pretty nervous! Any tips would be very much appreciated.
