Fashion week is a time of year that intrigues me. The excitement that surrounds it and the planning that goes in to each show really fascinates me. But more than the shows, it's the street style that gets me hooked. This year I noticed a shift, there was less of the outrageous fashion, which I am sure is purely to get your photo taken, and a move into comfort and practicality.
Even the A-list celebs like Kylie Jenner opted for comfort in these beautiful Hugo Boss trainers. The Hugo Boss show this year was gorgeous, you can see the collection here for a re-cap. The blue hues running through this collection immediately attracted me and combined with classic tailoring created my perfect collection. Most of the collection was greys, blues and black but there was a pop of red to keep things interesting. Alongside the clothes I loved the beauty look in the Hugo Boss show, the whole look was really subtle. The skin was perfected and combined with a subtly contoured eye and a thin coat of mascara.
I always feel inspired after fashion week but also a little defeated because the clothes are so far out of my price range. Living in London is expensive! But there are sites like Love the Sales which collate all the sales for you to save you all the time and hassle of searching around. I found these gorgeous navy trainers by Hugo Boss which ticked all the boxes for me and at almost half price. The navy colour really ties in with the AW16 collection and trainers are definitely a trend I want to buy into, I'm all for comfort!
