Snake Print Accents

I've been wanting to feature these gorgeous Kurt Geiger boots for ages and now I finally can! This outfit is a little smarter and more put together than usual, but I still love it.

These boots are an absolute favourite, I think they add a statement to this relatively plain outfit. They are now in the sale so snap them up!

I hope you're all having a lovely weekend! I've had a pretty chilled one, ending with watching the London Marathon today which was so much fun. The atmosphere was amazing and I feel so inspired to keep pushing on with my fitness journey.

Let me know what you think of the outfit!

Basics | The White T-Shirt

A white t-shirt is a basic in every girls wardrobe. My favourite is one from Topshop, it's a v-neck and hangs really nicely. Today I paired it with jeans and some Adidas trainers to keep it casual. But equally you can dress it up with a skirt and some heels for an evening.

With basics fashion items I think it's really important to take care of them and keep them ironed and looking smart. Morphy Richards gifted me their new steam iron. This iron is called their Atomist Vapour Iron, it's made with thermoglass and vapour mist technology. It's super easy to use, you fill up the base with water and then leave the iron to heat up, and it has three different settings. Once it has reached the right temperature it's ready to go. The vapour mist means you can target the water onto specific areas to help get rid of creases and make ironing your clothes much quicker!

I don't enjoy ironing at all and I'm embarrassed to say that when I go home my mum still irons all my clothes. She used to tell me she panicked watching me iron because i'm left handed and she was convinced I'd burn myself. But this iron made it really easy and all the creases were gone within no time, and bonus - no injuries!

I'm trying to invest in things rather than adding more fast fashion into my wardrobe, so I want to take make sure I'm taking care of all of my clothes. Any tips for places to shop for basic pieces?

Hope you have a great week!

Spring is here!

The weather this week has been gorgeous and has put me in such a brilliant mood. Today I thought I'd share with you a typical transitional outfit. I am so excited that I don't have to wear a big coat everyday now!

My third outfit post is finally here! I met up with Sarah to take some photos in Holborn and it was such a gorgeous day so we grabbed a coffee and got on our way. I am still very much a newbie to this fashion blogging stuff so I was a little nervous but I love how the photos turned out.

This cropped H&M shirt is about a year old but is an absolute staple for me, it makes an otherwise plain outfit that little more interesting. I made the outfit pretty casual with my Adidas Superstars and my favourite backpack from Urban Outfitters.

Let me know what you think!

Next Beauty

Next beauty

A couple of weeks ago I was invited to the Next blogger event to look at their beauty collection. It was my first event in a long time and unfortunately I felt a bit overwhelmed and didn't stay too long because of my anxiety. But lets focus on the positives, I got to leave with a lovely goodie bag with all these beauty bits to try!

Next beauty products

In the bag was two nail varnishes, two lip products, a candle and an eye shadow palette. I've not tried everything yet, but the things I have tried are amazing. The candle smells beautiful and is in a really nice glass jar. The nail varnishes are so much better than I expected, the darker one is opaque in one coat and lasted, chip free, for 4 days! The eyeshadows in this palette aren't my kind of colours so I'll be giving that to a friend, but the texture of the shadows is really soft so I think I might treat myself to the bronze colour palette. Finally are the lip products, I haven't tried either of these but I'm obsessed with red lipsticks and these colours look really nice so I'm sure I will like them!

If you're like me and didn't realise that Next did beauty products then check out the range here. Anything else you think I need to try from this range?

Swarovski Jewellery

swarovski jewellery , magazine, flowers

swarovski rings

Since writing my jewellery essentials post, which you can read here, I've been wanting to add some pieces to my collection.

Swarovski jewellery has always been something I've looked at but never taken the plunge to invest. Joshua James kindly gifted me this set of 3 rings and I am in love with them. They are sold as a set so you are able to stack them or wear them individually, I love them both ways. The style and shapes of them are very classic so I knew they would seamlessly fit into my collection.

I am so happy to have such great pieces added to my jewellery stash, they are absolutely gorgeous.

Do you invest in jewellery or choose more costume pieces?
